Make SVETRUCK Cheaper?
In our industry often only the purchase price of a truck is set in ratio to lift capacity. That a Svetruck is not evaluate to its prize but to its value is the result of our constant development for more than 30 years.
It is harder to keep up the value of a Svetruck than to alter the components regarding the prize and therefore risk the quality.
We often hear:” Too expensive! “The star among the forklifts.” “Incredible, but the price, the price.”
In the end we had the impression that a Svetruck was something only big companies were able to purchase. A good feeling but not what we were aiming for. Meanwhile we know from our customers that they are not so rich that they can afford to buy a bad product.
We asked ourselves whether it would be possible to reduce some components and therefore the price. It would have been possible to spare on the level of comfort, e.g. which gives the operators the same comfort whether he uses an 8 ton truck or a 52 ton truck, or on the costly pressed frame which joins in all movements of the truck without showing any damage, or on the free visibility lift- mast which last up to 20000 hours operation time without any significant wear. Or should we miss on the careful selection of key components such as engines, transmissions, axles and pumps that are in harmony and therefore ensure high operational safety.
Such a Svetruck would become many thousand EURO’s more reasonable without altering its appearance. At first glance, anyway.
It will not become a problem for us as we are more far sighted. We want that our more than 30 years company tradition still persists for several more years so that the next 5000 Svetrucks are not just judged by their price but according to their value.
So it is a question of common sense, if one purchases an “expensive” Svetruck.
